Full Time90 + 3 FULL-TIME: England defeat Slovenia 2-1 in a friendly at Wembley to boost their preparations for crucial World Cup qualifying.
90 + 1 Defoe breaks on his own, but the Spurs star is crowded out by the numbers in the Slovenia defence.
90 ADDED TIME: There will be a minimum of three minutes added time at the end of the match.
88 Carlton Cole powers in from the left and fires at goal, but the finish is not convincing at Slovenia survive as full-time approaches.
It always seemed that Slovenia could score. Johnson fails to prevent Pecnik from the left and Ljubijankic nips in to head a consolation for his country.
Goal85 GOAL LIUBIJANKIC (2-1)!!!
74 Slovenia waste their best chance of the match as Pecnik heads wide from close range. That was another defensive lapse from England.
Goal63 DEFOE SCORES (2-0)!!!
58 Terry gives away a clumsy foul on the right corner of the England penalty area as his lack of pace is exposed. Green wisely punches away a dangerous cross from the free-kick.
54 Slovenia are still looking very impressive in possession, but Upson has too much pace for Dedic in a footrace for a throughball.
51 Johnson, though, injects a bit of pace and his cross is put behind for a corner with Defoe threatening. The short corner just evades Upson at the far post. The West Ham ace stopped his run and maybe could have reached the ball.
46 WE'RE BACK: England get the second half under way
45 ADDED TIME: There will be a minimum of one minute added time at the end of the first half.
39 Johnson hesitates when attempting to clear and Slovenia have a chance to attack, but the Three Lions escape as an offside flag is raised.
Penalty Goal31 GOAL LAMPARD (1-0)!!! After complaints from Slovenia, and with Cesar limping off for treatment following his collision with Rooney, Lampard converts the spot-kick low to the left.
Penalty Given29 The ball does not go far as Gerrard dinks in a cross and Cesar is adjudged to have hauled down Rooney. England have a very soft penalty!
27 Gerrard appears to have run off his injury concern as England enjoy a nice spell of keep-ball. However, the move breaks down when Johnson attempts one jink too many instead of having a pop at goal from the edge of the box.
17 Another concern for England. Slovenia are easily creating openings and Bojan Jokic wastes a cross. Gerrard is hobbling a little, but he seems to be a bit better.
16 Wright-Phillips is wandering around the pitch, cutting in from the right in search of the ball. That creates space for Glen Johnson to push forward and Rooney just stabs wide from a cross from the Liverpool full-back.
14 England attack as a result of the goal-kick and a nice interchange between Rooney and Gerrard wins a corner. Slovenia easily defend the kick.
5 Heskey is again at the heart of the action as he is chopped down wide on the right by Aleksandar Radosavljevic. Gerrard takes the resulting free-kick, however, the delivery is not great and Slovenia goalkeeper Samir Handanovic can punch clear.
4 Gerrard, though, is having some joy down the left but the Liverpool captain just over-hits two crosses when looking for former club team-mate Heskey.
2 Slovenia are not sitting back and simply shutting a defensive door in the early stages and are pressuring England when Capello's side have the ball.
1 England soon rob their visitors of possession and look long towards Emile Heskey. The Aston Villa man does well to hold the ball up but then loses control.
