Collymore says:
"I'm not going to go through all this just to play for Rag Arse Rovers," Collymore said. "I know I can still be among the best.
what do members think has he still go what it takes?? Or is he just a has been

How old is he now 35-36? Can't see it working for him in football the standard of prem now. He was a good player in his day but I think he will come down to earth with a big bump if he does make a return to the game.

i know but sami has played continuously - and has taken his chance at our great Club to play with pride and has improved year on year - the two cant be compared Colly dragged the Club into controversy with his bad behaviour - he and God could have been an incredible strikeforce and he wasted his opportunity and gave poor Roy Evans a terrible time
his attitude stunk then and it stinks now

Your right Sissoko, sami is still going strong and I hope we get at least one more good season out of him. But he has been playing and training for the last five years. Do you honestly think the way stan has been looking after himself for the last five years he would be good enough for the prem? I don't think there are many managers who would be happy with players living the life he has!!

regardlessof what everyone thinks of him i can still see a team near the bottom of the league taking a gamble and bringing him back even if they thought he could score between 5-10 goals before the end of the season they might think that might make the difference between them going down or staying up

Collymore could have been one of the best strikers in the world (seriously) He had everything, pace, power an eye for goal Tech ability He really reminded me of Ronaldo when he played for Inter.
Problems of the pitch and his mental state ended a promising career. Yes he is to old now and been out for to long to be considered for us but a teams like west ham or bolton, hey even city and blackburn would benifit from signing him.
I liked Collymore as a player and wish him all the best in restarting his career however brief it may be
