Should There Be a Cap On Players Wages?

[glow=red,2,300]Ok peeps one to get your teeth into i hope - in these days of spiriling wage demands from players/agents, should there be a wage cap implemented - so Clubs like the Chavs cant entice players with offers of hundreds of thousands a week ??[/glow]

as far as my opinion goes - although i agree that players who are undoubtedly talented deserve to earn as much as they can, its now getting that footballers are so remote from the grass roots fan its not healthy

i actually heard on a radio station that a man u player (who they wouldnt name) actually requested a Club rep to come to his house because his hoover wouldnt work - turned out the bag needed emptied - which the Club rep did - another player (again manure) called the Club to request help when he had a flat tyre, they sent someone out to change it for him

how diva are they? and how spoiled - its getting ridiculous

but ok players like ballack (his performances cud add another s after the duble l ) earn 130,000 a week, a stupid thing as he aint playing like that aswell as his sheva m8.. oh and i didnt expect nothing else from man utd players, imagine wat wud they do if they broke a nail ?

I think that it is getting well out of hand with all these players prancing around (mostly ManUre of course) to get the club to sort everything out for them, they really are treated like they're royalty or something.

And as for wages....they are disgraceful...players don't NEED that much money...and of course the Chavs are the main guilty ones for this...

It is getting a bit ridiculous when a player such as Ashley Cole is "insulted" by a wage of something like £80k a week..

I agree - its like they arent even living in reality now - people earn an 1/8th of that in a YEAR - bloody ridiuculous

Im in two minds on this one, i agree with both sides of the argument - yes they are vastly overpaid, but dont rock stars earn a lot of money and golfers (look at Tiger Woods)?
