Sevilla are reportedly interested in luring Bayern Munich striker Claudio Pizarro away.
Pizarro's current contract with the German champions expires at the end of the season and negotiations on an extension are not making progress, with Sevilla ready to step in and make a move.
Pizarro has been in fine form for Bayern this season - scoring four goals - but his reported contract demands could still lead to him leaving the club at the end of the season.
The Peruvian international is demanding a sum thought to be in the region of €4 million (£2.7 million) a year, angering chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.
"Anyone wishing to earn as much as Schevchenko had better start playing like Schevchenko" said Rummenigge
