tribalfooball.com - April 07, 2007
Liverpool are ready to move for Real Madrid captain Raul.
The News of the World says Rafael Benitez has been tipped off Real's skipper will be sold at a cut-price £5million at the end of the season.
And the Kop boss is in pole position to snap up the striker, who has been revered by Bernabeu fans for the last seven years.
A Madrid source revealed: "Real president Ramon Calderon is starting to think it is time to overhaul the squad and bring in younger and fresher players."
Raul's agent, Gines Carvajal, declared: "If he leaves Real his destination would be easy to choose. It would be England."
** ohhh!!! how good would that be - we would be so cooolll with RAULLLLLL!!!!!!!

How About Tevez?
Tevez’s sensational move to Upton Park, along with his recently departed compatriot Javier Mascherano, is surrounded in mystery but there’s no mystery to where his heart lies at the moment. He has single handily dragged The Hammers back from the dead to give them real hope in beating the drop and has become an East End legend. His powerhouse displays though have not gone unnoticed by those in the game and it’s rumoured that Rafa Benitez is ready to swoop and team up Tevez and Mascherano once again at Liverpool.
Carlos Tevez is one of the game’s most talked about youngsters and the Argentinean has been labelled the “new Diego Maradona”. It took the former Boca Juniors striker a few months to find his feet in the Premiership but his effort and commitment to the cause were never doubted. In many people’s eyes he was the only West Ham player who looked like they cared about the club as they went on a terrible run of form. He scored his first goal for the Hammers against rivals Tottenham in a seven-goal thriller and has since gone on to add a further two to his name as the East London club has put a run of three wins together.
Tevez is not an out-and-out striker. He loves to come deep, get wide and run at defenders. He is an exciting talent, loves to be involved and knows where the goal is, but he is not a predator. If Liverpool are serious about making a sustained challenge for the Premiership title they need a predator. That threat would be more likely to come from someone like Barcelona’s Samuel Eto.
**hhmm what do you think peep? should we reunite the twosome??![???](http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k25/scousysmurf/smilies/9TH.gif)
